Mathew Law Group, PLLC

Privacy Policy

How we handle information submitted through our website, contact channels, and client-care text messaging program.

Last updated July 10, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information Mathew Law Group, PLLC ("Mathew Law Group," "we," "us," or "our") receives through this website, online contact forms, telephone calls, email, text messages, consultations, and related client-service interactions.

Submitting information or communicating with the firm does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only through a written engagement accepted by the firm.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Identifiers and contact information, such as your name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number.
  • General information about your legal inquiry, preferred office, state, and requested practice area.
  • Communications and records of interactions with the firm, including emails and text messages.
  • SMS consent evidence, including the telephone number, consent status, date and time, source, and version of the disclosure presented.
  • Technical information ordinarily transmitted by your browser, such as IP address, device type, browser type, referring page, and access time.
  • Information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our services.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account information, passwords, government-identification images, or confidential documents through an ordinary website form or text message unless the firm specifically directs you to an approved secure channel.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Review and respond to inquiries and determine the appropriate firm contact.
  • Perform preliminary intake and conflict-check procedures.
  • Schedule and manage consultations, appointments, and follow-up communications.
  • Provide legal services after the firm has accepted an engagement.
  • Send non-marketing client-care text messages when you initiate the conversation or provide consent.
  • Maintain records of consent, preferences, opt-outs, communications, and service activity.
  • Protect the security and integrity of our website, systems, personnel, clients, and prospective clients.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, professional-responsibility, and recordkeeping obligations.

4. SMS privacy and consent

Participation in the Mathew Law Group Client Care SMS program is optional. Providing a telephone number on a form does not by itself enroll you in text messages. Website SMS consent is collected through a separate, unchecked checkbox.

SMS consent is not sold or shared for unrelated marketing. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing the services of that campaign. We may share personal information, including SMS opt-in or consent status, with service providers that help us operate and deliver messaging, such as platform providers, telecommunications carriers, hosting providers, security providers, and approved technology vendors. These providers may use the information only to provide services to us and must protect it appropriately.

All categories of information sharing described in this policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent from sharing with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Request help by replying HELP or calling (800) 877-3900. Additional details appear in our SMS Terms & Conditions.

5. AI-assisted communications

Mathew Law Group may use an artificial-intelligence program under firm supervision to assist with routine intake, scheduling, routing, and client-service communications. The program is not a lawyer or employee of the firm, cannot provide legal advice, and cannot accept or decline representation.

We evaluate technology providers and their data-handling practices before authorizing them to process firm information. Access should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the approved function. Legal advice, case strategy, conflict decisions, urgent matters, and other substantive issues must be handled by firm personnel.

You may request a human by replying HUMAN during a text conversation or by calling the firm.

6. When we disclose information

We may disclose information:

  • To attorneys, employees, contractors, and affiliated professionals who need it to perform firm work.
  • To vendors that provide communications, hosting, cybersecurity, document management, scheduling, analytics, payment, or other operational services under appropriate restrictions.
  • When reasonably necessary to prevent harm, investigate fraud or security incidents, or protect rights and property.
  • When required by law, court order, professional obligation, or lawful governmental request.
  • In connection with a business reorganization, subject to applicable confidentiality and professional obligations.
  • With your direction or consent.

We do not sell personal information submitted for legal-service intake. We do not permit service providers to use SMS consent information for their own marketing.

7. Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No online system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including intake, conflict checking, legal-service delivery, consent and opt-out records, security, dispute resolution, and legal or professional obligations. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of record and whether you become a client.

8. Your choices

You may choose not to provide optional information. If you do not consent to SMS, you may still contact the firm by telephone, email, or the website form. SMS consent is not a condition of hiring Mathew Law Group.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, subject to applicable law and the firm's legal and professional obligations. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Our services are intended for adults and authorized representatives. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children through this website.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or services. The "Last updated" date identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
